Hang up the receiver to release the telephone line when the conversation is completed. This indicates that the unit is ready for use as a speakerphone without picking up the receiver or handset. You can talk to the caller via the "MICROPHONE" and hear from the "SPEAKER". HANDS FREE ANSWERING You can use the speakerphone when you cannot or do not wish to pick up the phone receiver. As a courtesy, be sure to inform the other party that you are using the speakerphone. IN USE INDICATOR This LED will light when you lift the receiver ­ showing you the phone is connected. This will also serve to remind you if the receiver is off the hook or not properly seated in the base. When the phone rings, the LED light will flash until you lift the receiver. LAST NUMBER REDIALING The last number you called can be redialed automatically. Pick up the receiver or press the SPEAKERPHONE button to get a new dial tone. If you have any difficulty getting a dial tone, do the following: · Press the Hook Switch or hang up the phone for 2 seconds ­Or- · Press "FLASH". MUSIC ON-HOLD BUTTON To put your party on hold position, press the HOLD button. A pre-programmed music selection will play automatically for the party on hold.
